Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>This sewer atlas grid feature class was created for the purpose of displaying and associating sewer features to the grid numbers. Paper and scanned copies of each map in this sewer grid are maintained by the City of Sheboygan's DPW Engineering Division. The purpose of this digital feature class was to replace the paper copies that employees would have to reference to see what paper (or scanned) sewer atlas map they wanted to view to reference the sewer system in a particular area. </SPAN></SPAN></P><P /><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>To create this feature class, the original CAD file was not usable because it contained no spatial reference. A paper printed copy of this grid map was scanned and georeferenced in ArcGIS Pro by andrew.bartell@sheboyganwi.gov and the grid polygons were manually drawn on the georeferenced image. Attributes were given for the corresponding grid numbers. A text string field was used for the "numbers" since many numbers contained preceding zeros and negative signs, which are problematic in GIS for displaying. </SPAN></SPAN></P><P /><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>There is no update schedule for this data. This data should not be being updated in any other location other than this database. </SPAN></SPAN></P><P /><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN><SPAN>The owner of this data is the DPW Engineering Department.
